Eligibility and preferencing criteria are stated in the RFQ document, Bidders must be
registered with the CIDB and it is estimated that Bidders must have a CIDB contractor
grading of 4SB or higher or potentially emerging enterprises that satisfy criteria stated in
the RFQ data must have a CIDB contractor grading of 4SB or higher.
The Employer is not bound to accept the lowest RFQ or portion of any RFQ and reserves
the right to waive any informality in RFQs received as his interests may dictate nor is he
required to give reasons for selecting one RFQ in favour of another.
RFQ documents will be published and available for download from the University’s
website at http://www.ul.ac.za as of 19 May 2023
A non-refundable RFQ deposit of R2 000.00 payable by EFT in favour of the Employer
is required should the Bidder decide to submit an offer.

A compulsory site inspection and briefing session will be held on Monday 22 May 2023 at
10h00, University of Limpopo, Turfloop Campus, Technical Boardroom
The closing time for receipt of RFQs is on 24 May 2023 at 12h00
RFQs documents must be submitted through an Online RFQ Box at: https://secure.sabeexdms.com/
(Bidders must ensure that RFQs are uploaded timeously in order to avoid disappointments).

Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, e-mail, physical and late RFQs will not be
accepted.
RFQs may only be submitted on the RFQ documentation that is issued and alternative
RFQs are not permitted.
