INVITATION TO TENDER: UL 2022/10/05.
University of Limpopo (UL) hereby invites tenders from suitably qualified service providers for the
provision of comprehensive landscaping, turf, horticulture, and gardening services for the University
of Limpopo.
1.1 Prospective bidders should note the following:
i. Bid documents, which include the specification of the service, can be downloaded from the
Employer’s website at www.ul.ac.za
ii. The closing time for receipt of bids is on Friday 12 May 2023 @16h00.
iii. All bids must be submitted through an online tender box at www.secure.sabeexdms.co.za.
(Bidders must ensure that tenders are uploaded timeously in order to avoid disappointments.
iv. No hand-delivered, faxed, or emailed copies will be accepted. If a bid is late or delivered to the
incorrect address, it will not be accepted for consideration.
v. A compulsory site briefing session will be held on the 12th April 2023 from 10h00-13h00, at the
Technical Services Boardroom, University of Limpopo Main Campus, Turfloop. Tenderers will be
expected to visit all four sides of the University (Main campus; Chief’s quarters' experimental farm,
Dalmada Guest house and Biccard Street Student Residence), UL will provide transport from the
main campus to other sites.
vi. Tenderers who fail to attend the compulsory site briefing will not be eligible to tender.
vii. Any and all queries must be addressed to the appointed tender administrator, Mr. Innocent
Ramaila in writing by email: innocent.ramaila@ul.ac.za up to close of business on Friday, 28th
April 2023. Any queries received after this date and time will not be entertained. Questions and
answers will be shared with all bidders without revealing the name of the tenderer.
viii. The preferred language of communication is English.
ix. A non-refundable tender deposit of R10 000 payable by EFT in favour of the Employer is
required should the Tenderer decide to submit an offer. The following banking details are
