The University of Limpopo hereby invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors, for the Convention of Existing Student Residence into Disability Student Residence (Hector Peterson House and Shaka House) at the Turfloop Campus of the University of Limpopo, located on the corner of R71 Tzaneen Road and University Street, Mankweng Township, Polokwane, in Limpopo.
Contracts will be based on the JBCC Edition 6.2 – May 2018.

T1.1.1
|
Eligibility and preferencing criteria are stated in the tender document, tenderers must be registered with the CIDB and it is estimated that tenderers must have a CIDB contractor grading of 6GB or higher or potentially emerging enterprises who satisfy criteria stated in the tender data
must have a CIDB contractor grading of 5GB PE or higher.

The Employer is not bound to accept the lowest tender or portion of any tender and reserves
the right to waive any informality in tenders received as his interests may dictate nor is he required to give reasons for selecting one tender in favour of another.

Tender documents will be published and available for download from the University’s website at http://www.ul.ac.za as of Monday 30 JANUARY 2023 at 09h00.

A non-refundable tender deposit of R10 000.00 payable by EFT in favor of the Employer is required should the Tenderer decide to submit an offer.

An online briefing session will be held on Monday, 06 February 2023 at 13h00. For this session, an online meeting link will be published on Employer’s website www.ul.ac.za

The closing time for receipt of tenders is on Friday, 24 February 2023 at 12h00.

Tender documents must be submitted through an Online Tender Box at: www.secure.sabeexdms.com. (Bidders must ensure that tenders are uploaded timeously in order to avoid disappointments).
