Tender Notice and Invitation to Tender

The University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg invites suitable, qualified and experienced Contractors to tender for the alteration and addition to the existing pedestrian entrance at Oppenheimer Life Sciences building, Jan Smuts Avenue and the addition of a new pedestrian entrance at Sutton Close, on Jorissen Street, Braamfontein.

Eligibility and preferencing criteria are stated in the tender documents which may be downloaded from the University’s website: http://www.wits.ac.za/about-wits/procurement/ from Monday, 15 January 2018 at 12h00. Only tenderers who have suitable experience and suitably qualified personnel in providing similar services to those that are required are eligible to submit tenders.

It is estimated that tenderers should have a CIDB contractor grading designation of 6CE or 6 GB or higher.

A compulsory clarification meeting will be held for all tenderers who wish to participate in the tendering process.

The closing time for receipt of tenders is on Friday 9 February 2018 at 12h00 (noon)

No telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, e-mail and late tenders will be accepted.
