Installation of MV Switchgear and Refurbishment of Electrical Substations on Braamfontein and Parktown Campuses

Tender Notice and Invitation to Tender

The University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg invites suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to tender for the installation of medium voltage switchgear and the refurbishment of substations at various locations around the Braamfontein and Parktown Campuses.

Eligibility and preference criteria are stated in the tender documents.

It is estimated that tenderers should have a CIDB contractor grading designation of 6EP or higher.

A compulsory clarification meeting will be held for all tenderers will be held as follows:

Date: Tuesday, 3 October 2017
Time: 11h00-13h00
Venue: Room FNB45, First National Bank Building, Braamfontein West Campus, 1 Jan Smuts Avenue, Braamfontein, Johannesburg.

Please allow at least 30 minutes to locate suitable parking prior to the meeting.

The closing time for receipt of tenders is on Thursday 12 October 2017 at 12h00.

No telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, e-mail and late tenders will be accepted.

Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is supplied. Alternative tenders are not permitted.
