TENDER NOTIFICATION

The University of Venda invites suitable service providers, which are authorized Aruba HPE resellers, to submit proposals for the procurement of Aruba Clear Pass server, Aruba mobility conductor hardware, Aruba access points, Aruba access switches, and Aruba distribution switches from Aruba HPE manufacturers, which is a leader in the wired and wireless Gartner Magic Quadrant 2022. This is a UNIVEN network revamp project to replace obsolete HP wired ICT infrastructure equipment and to enhance campus-wide wireless by deploying outdoor access points for The University of Venda to support the Fourth Industrial Revolution initiative. The University of Venda ICT network infrastructure is built on Aruba devices with some of the equipment on lifetime or limited lifetime warranty for the host devices and registration of the product (serial number and contact information) by the authorized reseller to The University of Venda. The University of Venda is situated in Thohoyandou, Limpopo Province.

 

It must be noted that should there be any other requirements or niche services that fall outside of the scope of this tender. The University reserves the right to procure those services using a separate process if found to be more effective at the university’s sole discretion as part of this tender.
