The University of Limpopo (UL) invites experienced prospective service provider(s) in the Accounting and Consulting field to submit quotations for the Verification of Movable assets at the University of Limpopo as specified in this bid document.

Prospective bidders should note the following:

1. Bid documents, which include the specification of the service, can be downloaded for free from the Employer’s website at www.ul.ac.za from 12h00 on 08 July 2024.

2. The closing time and date for receipt of bids is 16h:00 on Friday, 26 July 2024

3. All bid or quotation documents must be submitted through an online tender box at  www.secure.sabeexdms.com.

(Bidders must ensure that bids are uploaded timeously to avoid disappointments).

4. No hand delivery faxed or emailed copies will be accepted. If a bid is late or delivered to the incorrect address, it will not be accepted for consideration.

6. The preferred language of communication is English.

7. The University shall not be responsible for, or pay for, any expenses or losses, which may be incurred by the Proposer in the preparation and delivery of its Responses.

8. All material submitted in reply to this RFQ shall become the property of the University and may only be returned to a Proposer at the University’s discretion.

1. Responses submitted to the University may be reviewed and evaluated by any person appointed thereto by the University acting in its sole and absolute discretion, except for competitor Proposers.

10. The University has the right to use any or all of the information presented to it in any Response to the RFQ as it deems fit.

11. The University reserves the right to withdraw any invitation to quote and/or to re-advertise or to reject any quotation or to accept a part of it. The University does not bind itself to accepting the lowest quotation.

       l.The quotation will be evaluated on the 80/20 Preference Points system prescribed by the University of Limpopo’s Supply Chain Management Policy. Only those prospective bidders who satisfy the eligibility criteria and provide the required evidence in their submissions are eligible to submit bids and have their bids evaluated.
