Tender Notice and Invitation to Tender

The University of Mpumalanga, Mbombela Campus invites tenders for the construction of storm water network, upgrading of parking areas and installation of services sleeves adjacent to the Science Block on Lower Campus.

It is estimated that tenderers should have a CIDB contractor grading designation of 6CE or higher.

Only tenderers who have suitable experience and suitably qualified personnel in providing similar services to those that are required are eligible to submit tenders.

Tenderers who are a B-BBEE status level 4 contributor or better and who are Exempted Micro Enterprises (EMEs) or Small Qualifying Enterprises (QSE) are prequalified to submit tender offers in accordance with the provisions of the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2017.    

Documents may be downloaded from the Employer’s website www.ump.ac.za from 11:00 on Tuesday 1 August 2017.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representatives of the Employer will take place at the entrance to University of Mpumalanga Mbombela Campus (– coordinates -25.437537, 30.98185) on Tuesday 15 August 2017 from 10h00 to 12h00.

The closing time for receipt of tenders is 12:00 on Tuesday 29 August 2017. Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, e-mail and late tenders will not be accepted.

Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
