Tender Notice and Invitation to Tender

THIS TENDER HAS BEEN WITHDRAWN - PLEASE REFER TO ADDENDUM 1.

The University hereby invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors, to construct new student and researcher accommodation facilities, inclusive of refurbishment and associated site works as required at its WITS Rural Facility, located on Orpen Road, Acornhoek, Bushbuck Ridge in Limpopo.

Eligibility and preferencing criteria are stated in the tender document, tenderers must be registered with the CIDB and have a current minimum grading of 6GB.

Tender documents will be published and available for downloading from the University’s website at http://www.wits.ac.za/about-wits/procurement/ as from Monday, 03 July 2017 at 12h00.

A compulsory clarification meeting, at WITS Rural Facility is scheduled for Thursday, 13 July 2017 at 13h00.

The closing time for receipt of tenders is scheduled at 12h00 on Thursday, 17 August 2017. No telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, e-mail and late tenders will be accepted.

Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued, alternative tenders are not permitted.
