The University of Limpopo hereby invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors, to construct a guard house and boundary wall at the University of Limpopo, inclusive of associated site work as required, located on the corner of R71 Tzaneen Road and University Street, Mankweng Township, Polokwane, in Limpopo.
Contracts will be based on the JBCC Edition 6.2 – May 2018.
Eligibility and preferencing criteria are stated in the tender document, tenderers must be registered with the CIDB and it is estimated that tenderers must have a CIDB contractor grading of 8GB or higher or potentially emerging enterprises who satisfy criteria stated in the tender data must have a CIDB contractor grading of 7GB PE or higher.
The Employer is not bound to accept the lowest tender or portion of any tender and reserves the right to waive any informality in tenders received as his interests may dictate nor is he required to give reasons for selecting one tender in favour of another.

A non-refundable tender deposit of R10 000.00 payable by EFT in favor of the Employer is required should the Tenderer decide to submit an offer.

A compulsory site meeting will be held at the Technical Services of the University of Limpopo, on Thursday, 09th March 2023 at 11h00
An online briefing session will be held on Monday, 06 March 2023 at 11h00am. For this session, an online meeting link will be published on Employer’s website www.ul.ac.za

The closing time for receipt of tenders is on Friday, 24 March 2023 at 14h00pm.
