The University of Limpopo hereby invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors, to
construct an Earthworks platform for the construction of a New Innovation Hub Building at the Turfloop
Campus of the University of Limpopo, inclusive of associated site works as required, located on corner of R71
Tzaneen Road and University Street, Mankweng Township, Polokwane, in Limpopo.
Contracts will be based on the JBCC Edition 6.2 – May 2018.
T1.1.1
Eligibility and preferencing criteria are stated in the tender document, tenderers must be
registered with the CIDB and it is estimated that tenderers must have a CIDB contractor
grading of 4CE or higher.
T1.1.2
The Employer is not bound to accept the lowest tender or portion of any tender and reserves
the right to waive any informality in tenders received as his interests may dictate nor is he
required to give reasons for selecting one tender in favour of another.

Tender documents will be published and available for download from the University’s
website at http://www.ul.ac.za as of 25 November 2022
T1.1.4
A non-refundable tender deposit of R2 000.00 payable by EFT in favour of the Employer
is required should the Tenderer decide to submit an offer.
