TENDER DOCUMENT FOR THE SUPPLY, AND DELIVERY OF SPECIFIC FOOD SUPPLIES AND COLD BEVERAGE TO THE SOL PLAATJE UNIVERSITY AND ASSOCIATED SERVICES.

1. GENERAL INFORMATION

Qualifying Service Providers appropriately accredited and registered to supply, and delivery of specific food supplies and cold beverages and associated services to Sol Plaatje University are hereby invited to render their tenders to the Sol Plaatje University (SPU) as specified herein, delivered in the requested manner and to the address advised. Late responses will not be considered.

The tendered are required to respond to this tender invitation by paying specific attention to food requirements, broken down into the categories is listed in the tender documentation and referred to in the scope of work document as well as items listed in the part of the document that contain the Bill of Quantities. The service provider(s) shall be expected to supply and deliver to Sol Plaatje University precinct.

Service Providers are invited to submit their tenders for the provision of the service

1.1 Proposals in response to TENDER: SPU- COO- FSD- SS 2022 - TENDER (1) must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked TENDER: SPU- COO- FSD- SS 2022 - TENDER (1) by no later than 7 November 2022 (Date) at 12:00 (noon) (Time) in the SPU Tender Box, which is located in the Entrance Foyer, Luka Jantjie House, North Campus, Chapel Street, Kimberley (GPS coordinates 28°44'42.91"S / 24°45'59.55"E).

1.2 Any and all queries in response to this tender document TENDER: SPU- COO- FSD- SS 2022 - TENDER (1) must be submitted in writing to Mr Themba Dingindlela on email: themba.dingindlela@spu.ac.za the final date for queries will be the 24th October 2022.

1.3 There will be no briefing session.

1.4 Your signed tender submission in response to TENDER: SPU- COO- FSD- SS 2022 - TENDER (1) must be submitted, and clearly marked TENDER: SPU- COO- FSD- SS 2022 - TENDER (1) by no later than 7 th November (Date) at 12:00 (noon) (Time).

1.5 Only tenders submitted on time via the method stated in clause 1.1 will be accepted.

1.6 Faxed, couriered, etc. late tenders will not be accepted.

1.7 The use of the term ‘Service Provider’ should not be construed so as to assume that any contract has or will be awarded. For the purposes of this tender, ‘Service Provider’ refers to the individual / entity submitting a tender.
