SECTION 1.1: INVITATION TO TENDER
UL2022/04/01- APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER FOR THE PROVISION OF EXTERNAL AUDIT SERVICES FOR A PERIOD OF 3 FINANCIAL YEARS STARTING WITH THE AUDIT OF THE 2022 FINANCIAL YEAR
University of Limpopo (UL) hereby invites qualified and experienced prospective service provider(s) in the external audit environment to submit bids/tenders for external audit for the period covering three (3) financial years (1 January 2022 to 31 December 2024), renewable annually based on performance and AGSA concurrence.
Documents may be downloaded for free from the Employer’s website www.ul.ac.za from 15:00 on 13 May 2022. A non-refundable tender deposit of R5 000 payable by EFT in favour of the Employer is required should they decide to submit an offer. The following banking details are to be used:

The closing time for receipt of tenders is 12h00 midday on 10 June 2022.
Tenders must be submitted through an online tender box accessed through www.ul.ac.za. Detailed instructions for online submission are published with the Online Tender Box. Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, e-mail, physical and late tenders will not be accepted.
The Tender will be evaluated on the 80/20 Preference Points system as prescribed by the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act 5 of 2000. Only those prospective bidders who satisfy the eligibility criteria and who provide the required evidence in their submissions are eligible to submit bids and have their bids evaluated.
The University reserves the right to withdraw any invitation to tender and/or to re-advertise or reject any tender or accept a part of it. The University does not bind itself to accept the lowest tender or award a contract to the bidder scoring the highest number of points
