Tender Notice Description:

UL2021/08/05 APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER FOR THE UPDATING & MAINTENANCE OF UL’s IMMOVEABLE ASSETS REGISTER FOR THE PERIOD OF THREE (3) YEARS

University of Limpopo (UL) hereby invites qualified and experienced prospective service provider(s) in the professional consulting environment to submit bids/tenders for the updating and maintenance of University of Limpopo’s Immoveable Assets Register for the period covering of three (3) financial years. Joint ventures and subcontracting are allowed.

Prospective bidders should note the following:

  • Bid documents, which include the specification of the service, can be downloaded from the Employer’s website at www.ul.ac.za.
  • The closing time for receipt of bids is 12:00pm on Friday 26 November  2021.
  • All bids must be submitted through an online tender box accessed through  www.ul.ac.za

  • The preferred language of communication is English.

A non-refundable tender deposit of R5 000 payable by EFT in favor of the Employer is required should the Tenderer decide to submit an offer. The following banking details are to be used:

An online briefing session will be held on Wednesday,  11th November  2021 Monday 15 November 2021 from 10:00-11:30am. For this session, an online meeting link will be published on the Tender Notice Page.

The Tender will be evaluated on the 80/20 Preference Points system as prescribed by the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act 5 of 2000. Only those prospective bidders who satisfy the eligibility criteria and who provide the required evidence in their submissions are eligible to submit bids and have their bids evaluated.

The University reserves the right to withdraw any invitation to tender and/or to re-advertise or to reject any tender or to accept a part of it. The University does not bind itself to accepting the lowest tender or award a contract to the bidder scoring the highest number of points.
