Campus Planning and Development on behalf of the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg invites tenders for the supply and delivery only of 11kV switchgear for the substation switchgear upgrade project to be undertaken at the University’s Braamfontein and Parktown Campuses.

Only respondents who have tendered switchgear which comply with the provided technical specification requirements are eligible to have their submissions evaluated. Respondents must comply with the requirements stated in the procurement documentation.

On award of contract an NEC3 Supply Short Contract will be entered into between the University and the preferred tenderer.

Preferences will be offered to tenderers who are Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Contributors.

The closing time for receipt of tenders is 12h00 hrs on Tuesday 28 February 2017. 

The physical address for submission of completed tender documents is the Tender Box in the Foyer of the Procurement Offices, Braamfontein Campus West as per details in tender document.

Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, e-mail and late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.  Requirements for sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the Tender Data.
