Tender Notice and Invitation to Tender 
 
University of Limpopo invites tenders from experienced professionals to provide professional technical advisory services to the Lender for the development of a 3500-bed student housing development(on a turnkey basis) at University of Limpopo, Turfloop Campus. The professional appointed here will be the Lender’s Technical Advisor appointed to advise the Lenders on technical, environmental, social, contractual  and commercial matters, including with respect to certain condition precedent  to advance under the  loan facility agreement entered into between the DBSA as the  Lender and the University of Limpopo as the Borrower.
 
The Employer will separately engage a Principal Agent to manage the design and construction contract referred to. 

The Employer will separately engage a separate Employer’s Technical Advisory Team to deliver the design and construction monitoring of a design and construct contract for the delivery of the required precinct.  

The contract will be based on the NEC3 Professional Services Contract (April 2013).

Documents may be downloaded for free from the Employer’s website www.ul.ac.za from 15:00 on 30 July 2021. A non-refundable tender deposit of R1150.00 payable by EFT in favour of the Employer is required should they decide to submit an offer.

An Online Briefing is presented from the website where the documentation is downloaded. This can be accessed ondemand at any time before the tender closes.
It is compulsory for tenderers to view the entire Online Briefing, and capture their particulars for submission at the end of the presentation. Tenderers are required to print out this confirmation and include
this in their tender submissions.

The closing time for receipt of tenders is 12h00 hrs on 20 August 2021.

Tenders are to be submitted online to the Online Tender Box that is located on the Tender Notice Page where procurement documentation are downloaded. Detailed instructions for online submission are published with the Online Tender Box.  

Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, e-mail, physical and late tenders will not be accepted.

Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
