1.1. University of Limpopo invites tenders from experienced Services Providers for the supply and
delivery of Staff Devices (Laptops) for the University of Limpopo. Only tenderers who comply
with the eligibility criteria stated in the Tender Data are eligible to submit tenders.
1.2. Documents may be downloaded free from the Employer’s website www.ul.ac.za from 15:00 on
23th July 2021. A non-refundable tender deposit of R1150.00 payable by EFT in favor of the
Employer is required should they decide to submit an offer.
1.3. A Compulsory Online Briefing is presented from the website where the documentation is
downloaded. This can be accessed on-demand at any time before the tender closes. It is
compulsory for tenderers to view the entire Online Briefing, and capture their particulars for
submission at the end of the presentation. Tenderers are required to print out this
confirmation and include this in their tender submissions.

1.5. The language of communication is English.
1.6. The closing time for receipt of tenders is 12h00 hrs on 06th August 2021.
1.7. Tenders are to be submitted online to the Online Tender Box that is located on the Tender Notice
Page where procurement documentation are downloaded. Detailed instructions for online
submission are published with the Online Tender Box.
1.8. Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, e-mail, physical and late tenders will not be accepted.
1.9. Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued. All bids must be
submitted via an electronic tender box at www.sabeex.co.za
1.10. Requirements for sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in
the Tender Data. Only those tenderers who satisfy the following eligibility criteria and who
provide the required evidence in their tender submissions are eligible to submit tenders and
have their tenders evaluated
1.11. The tendering entity is registered in terms of the Companies Act, 2008 (Act 71 of 2008) or Close
Corporation Act, 1984, (Act No. 69 of 1984), or, if a partnership, have in place a partnership
agreement that enables the partnership to automatically continue to function in the event of a
death or withdrawal of one of the partners.
1.12. No unincorporated Joint Ventures are eligible to submit offers.
1.13. The tendering entity is able to provide audited financial statements complying with applicable
legislation for the preceding financial year within 12 months of the year end (2020 or later).
