Tender Notice and Invitation to Tender

The University of Mpumalanga invites tenders for geotechnical engineering services within the University of Mpumalanga, over a 3 year term without a guarantee of the quantum of work.

The contracts will be based on the NEC3 Professional Service Contract.

The prequalification criteria in accordance with the PPPFA Regulations 2017 are as follows:

• The tenderer is a B-BBEE status level 1,2,3 or 4 contributor, and
• The tenderer is an Exempted Micro Enterprise (EME) or a Qualifying Small Enterprise (QSE)

Only tenderers who comply with these prequalification criteria are eligible to submit tender offers.

Only tenderers who comply with the eligibility criteria stated in the Tender Data are eligible to submit tender offers.

Documents may be downloaded from the Employer’s website www.ump.ac.za from 10:00 on  Tuesday 8 September 2020.

An Online Briefing is presented from the website where the documentation is downloaded. This can be accessed on-demand at any time before the tender closes. It is compulsory for tenderers to view the entire Online Briefing, and capture their particulars for submission at the end of the presentation. Tenderers are required to print out this confirmation and include this in their tender submissions.

The closing time for receipt of tenders is 12h00  hrs on Wednesday 30 September 2020.

Tenders are to be submitted online to the Online Tender Box that is located on the Tender Notice Page where procurement documentation are downloaded. Detailed instructions for online submission are published with the Online Tender Box.  

Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, e-mail, physical and late tenders will not be accepted.

Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
