Tender Notice and Invitation to Tender

The University of Zululand invites tenders for professional electrical engineering services within the University of Zululand’s KwaDlangezwa and Richards Bay Campuses, located within the Umhlathuze Local Municipal area, over a three-year term without a guarantee of the quantum of work.

The contracts will be based on the NEC3 Professional Service Contract.

Tenderers who are B-BBEE status level 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 contributors and are Exempted Micro Enterprises (EME) or Qualifying Small Enterprises (QSE) are prequalified to submit tender offers in accordance with the provisions of the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2017.

Documents may be obtained from the University of Zululand website www.unizulu.ac.za from 10h00 on Wednesday 16 June 2020.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representatives of the Employer will take place at The Arts Auditorium, 24 Main Street, KwaDlandgezwa Campus, KwaZulu Natal on 23 June 2020 starting at 12h00

The closing time for receipt of tenders is 12h00 (noon) on Thursday 16 July 2020. Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, e-mail and late tenders will not be accepted.

Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
