Tender Notice and Invitation to Tender 
 The University of Zululand invites tenders for professional civil engineering services within the University of Zululand’s
KwaDlangezwa and Richards Bay Campuses, located within the Umhlathuze Local Municipal area, over a three year
term without a guarantee of the quantum of work. 

The contracts will be based on the NEC3 Professional Service Contract. 

Tenderers who are B-BBEE status level 1 to 5 contributors and are Exempted Micro Enterprises (EME) or Qualifying Small Enterprises (QSE) are prequalified to submit tender offers in accordance with the provisions of the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2017. 

Only tenderers who have suitable experience and suitably qualified personnel in providing similar services to those that are required are eligible to submit tenders.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representatives of the Employer will take place at The Arts Auditorium, 24 MainStreet, KwaDlandgezwa Campus, KwaZulu Natal on 25 October 2019 starting at 08h00. 

The closing time for receipt of tenders is 12h00 on Thursday, 7 November 2019. Telegraphic, telephonic, telex,
facsimile, e-mail and late tenders will not be accepted. 

Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
