Tender Notice and Invitation to Tender

The University of Mpumalanga, Mbombela Campus invites tenders for the manufacture and construction of a structural steel walkway from the Library parking to the multipurpose building, decking pods to existing dam embankments and brick and concrete retaining wall repairs at the amphitheatre adjacent to Building NBP003 on Lower Campus.

It is estimated that tenderers should have a CIDB contractor grading designation of 5SL or 5CE or higher.

Only tenderers who have suitable experience and suitably qualified personnel in providing similar services to those that are required are eligible to submit tenders.

Tenderers who are a B-BBEE status level 4 contributor or better and who are Exempted Micro Enterprises (EMEs) or Small Qualifying Enterprises (QSE) are prequalified to submit tender offers in accordance with the provisions of the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2017.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representatives of the Employer will take place at the entrance to University of Mpumalanga Mbombela Campus (– coordinates -25.437537, 30.98185) on Friday 13 October 2017 from 13h00 to 14h00.

The closing time for receipt of tenders is 12:00 on Thursday 26 October 2017. Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, e-mail and late tenders will not be accepted.

Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
