Tender Notice and Invitation to Tender 
 
The University of Mpumalanga invites tenders for the construction of the civil infrastructure for the Mbombela South Campus, consisting of the roads network, on-street parking, and drop-off zone, including the associated stormwater system and services within the road reserve namely water, sewer, irrigation, and data sleeves. 

The contract will be based on the NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract (Option B- Bills of Quantities)

It is estimated that tenderers should have a CIDB contractor grading designation of 7CE or higher.

Only tenderers who demonstrate suitable experience and have suitably qualified personnel and comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data are eligible to submit tenders.

The pre-qualification criteria for preferential procurement are that only  tenderers who are B-BBEE status level 4 contributors or higher may respond to this tender notice and invitation.

Only tenderers who undertake to subcontract a minimum of 30% of the contract value to an EME or QSE which is at least 51% owned by black people and operate from premises within the Mpumalanga provincial boundaries are eligible to submit tenders.

There will be a Compulsory Briefing Meeting held at University of Mpumalanga Mbombela Campus Main Entrance (Directions will be provided from there) on Wednesday 23 October 2019 at 13h30-15h00.

The closing time for receipt of tenders is 12h00  hrs on Tuesday 5 November 2019. Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, e-mail and late tenders will not be accepted.

Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
